Tried this tonight with great success:
Select organic gluten-free corn tortilla chips, plate on microwaveable plate.
Sprinkle sharp, whole fat cheddar cheese over chips, melt in microwave 30 seconds.
Spread sliced pickled jalapeƱo peppers heavily over chips. Pour several heaping tablespoons of your favorite low sugar salsa over chips.
Top the pile with whole fat, low sugar, sour cream.
Grate fresh turmeric heavily over sour cream. Sprinkle turmeric powder, nutmeg, and Ceylon cinnamon over top. Pour a little MCT oil or coconut oil at the peak of the pile.
Don't rush to the glass of water. Let it burn for awhile :-)
I
Enjoy!
God bless

hello Glen ,
ReplyDeletei am a bit confused ...i thought people with pd were already producing too much acetylcholine ?( which was counter-acting the dopamine )
you think more acetylcholine is a good thing ?
kind regards
Acetylcholine and dopamine need to be in balance. Since acetylcholine controls tension at muscle terminal neurons outside the brain and dopamine controls relaxation, when dopamine drops (as in PD) the balance shifts towards tension, rigidity, and shaking.
DeleteBut
Since acetylcholine and nicotine cause sharp releases of dopamine (perhaps even stronger when both are contacting the nAch receptors at once), in my case at least, adding them both to my diet appears to have rebalanced the dopamine and acetylcholine with great success - for two years now.
As a footnote, anticholinergenic medication that tries to rebalance acetylcholine and dopamine by lowering acetylcholine also lowers cholinergic transmission which is needed for cognition. In time this may lead to cognitive decline.
Better I think to boost both nicotine and acetylcholine.
God Bless
Glen
Thanks for your answer Glen ,
ReplyDeleteI think nicotine mimicks acetylcholine when entering the body & receptors , to compensate this rush of "fake acetylcholine/nicotine " , the bidy will produce more dopamine & others neurotransmitters....but this process does use a lot the surrenals glands , which lead to adrenal/surrenal fatigue ...that's why diet and a lot of juicing are so important to help sustain the surrenals glands ....
kind regards
